Anyway, the nickname stuck. Back when vanity plates weren’t so vain – ok, they’ve always been vain, hence the name – I checked to see if “flying g” was available. It was. I registered it and this plate has graced the backside of my car for the past five years.
Unfortunately, most people read it as the single word “Flying” or say it with a stutter like “Flying-g-g-g-g”. To set the record straight, it’s Flying G. If it makes you more comfortable, bookmark davidgalindo.net. It still brings you to this site, but might be easier for some to remember.
